Photography Holiday to Italy – A Great Success

In April 2022, Two Dublin Photography School Trainers and 16 budding photographers met in Dublin Airport to board a flight to Italy. Photographers of all experience levels from all walks of life were soon full of chat and banter as we boarded our bus to Lake Garda which would be our base for 2 days as we explored the winding picturesque streets of the small villages dotted around Lake Garda – covering everything from how to get the best street shots to Long exposure sunsets on the lake, it was a photographers playground.

On day 3 we set off up into the dolomite mountains to spend 2 days and exploring the alpine towns and photograph some of the most stunning peaks and passes of the Italian Alps had to offer. Here we covered everything from Tripod discipline to settings to the finer points of landscape photography, before returning to Riva Del Garda for a day at leisure.

Getting great hands on photography guidance on how to get the best from my camera:-

– how to take a good a picture with emphasis on a good composition.

– Understanding Aperture & Shutter Speed.

– Learning to get off the average axis and get down low.

– Learning to use a tripod in specific settings & much more.

Stewart & Sinead have superb patience giving lots of time to all & especially guiding beginners – me being one driving them nuts with questions. The location is amazing, scenery stunning.
