Our portfolio masterclass is suitable for those wishing to further develop their knowledge and practice of photography. Participants will experience and learn new approaches to photography with the aim of developing a photographic project and/or portfolio for further education or third level. This masterclass is scheduled to support CAO applicants, so very suitable for leaving certificate students. It is aimed at all levels.
The day includes a group review session giving an insight into each participant’s own work. Feedback and advice are given to enable you to explore your interests and skills as a photographer. It will help you to identify the areas of photography that you wish to develop further. There will be discussions and demonstrations on practical advice for constructing portfolios for further education and third level, offering the opportunity to develop a strong portfolio with support and mentorship from a teacher with over twelve years experience in education.
We are delighted to have Martin Cregg onboard for this masterclass. Martin is a documentary photography and lecturer at St. Kevins College and a published author.He has exhibited in Ireland and also internationally and he specializes in cotemporary photography practice.
