These introduction courses are geared towards getting the most out of your camera with a heavy focus on “manual mode” and creativity while also getting the student a firm understanding of the basic photography fundamentals – Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO and the Light Meter. This allows the student to really achieve the most out of their photography. We apply these fundamentals along with our ethos of encouragement and empowerment which gives our students a sense of confidence when shooting, have been shown to produce some amazing results.

The Complete Novice Photographer: This is someone who has never had a camera or any serious interest in photography before – then one day they just get the bug – maybe they play around with a friends camera or get one as a present, or they see an image or exhibition that suddenly inspires them to take it up as a hobby. Our introduction to photography courses are absolutely perfect as a first stop to getting you on your way to producing some amazing photographs.
The Dabbling Photographer: These are photographers who have been taking photos for some years. They have the shutterbug and they have it bad – they bring the camera everywhere and love photography, however in all the excitement have never actually taken much or any formal training and are often self taught and may reach a plateu in their photography and want to make sure there basics are in place and are sound. Youtube has been kind, but can be hard to know what advice to take. On our photography courses we see a fair few of these snappers who kick their photography up a notch.
The Returning Photographer: “I used to be a photographer, I used to have an old 35mm film camera and was in a few camera clubs around Dublin” . For photographers like this, life can get in the way and photography may take a bak seat.
